01 — OUR COMPANY

Local roots.
A bigger perspective.

We are YEDA Coffee Company Limited, based in Kasese, Uganda. Through our trading name, Great Agro Coffee, we connect coffee sourcing with the needs of the market.

Great Pearl Coffee Factory brings the processing side of that journey into focus. Together, our trading and factory operations put attention on the coffee itself: how it is received, assessed, handled and prepared for its next destination.

A MOUNTAIN ORIGIN, CLOSE TO HOME

The Rwenzori.
A place in every cup.

The slopes of the Rwenzori Mountains are one of western Uganda’s Arabica coffee origins. With our base in Kasese, this coffee landscape is close to our story.

Mountain farms, growing conditions and post-harvest care all contribute to the character of a coffee. Rwenzori Arabica can be prepared through washed or natural processing, giving buyers different expressions of the same regional origin.

We put the conversation around the lot: where it comes from, how it was processed, its physical quality and what the cup reveals. Ask our trade team about Rwenzori Arabica and the lots available for assessment.

SPECIALITY COFFEE

Character worth
looking closer at.

Speciality begins with attention to the individual lot.

For buyers exploring speciality Arabica, the conversation goes beyond origin alone. Cherry selection, processing, drying, storage and sensory assessment all deserve attention.

Tell us your preferred process, quantity and cup expectations. We can discuss sample requirements, available quality information and the next steps with our trade team.

Cup profiles and scores are lot-specific. Ask for the assessment of the coffee you are considering.

FROM CHERRY TO GREEN COFFEE

Different processes.
Distinct expressions.

Processing shapes the journey.
Find the preparation that suits your needs.

01 / WASHED ARABICA

Care at every stage.

In washed processing, the cherry skin and pulp are removed. The mucilage is removed before the coffee is washed and dried in its parchment. Once dry, the parchment is hulled to reveal the green bean.

The process puts emphasis on careful handling from cherry reception through drying. Discuss washed Arabica availability and sample assessment with our team.

02 / NATURAL ARABICA

Time with the fruit.

Natural processing dries the whole coffee cherry before its dried outer layers are removed through hulling. Drying and storage remain important parts of preparing a consistent lot.

Rwenzori Arabica is associated with both natural and washed preparations. The final character varies by lot, so compare samples and quality information before choosing.
